August 19, 2010 The Bayerische Patentallianz GmbH, the central patent and marketing agency of 28 Bavarian universities and universities of applied sciences, will provide information on the latest inventions, their protection and marketing on Twitter, on its technology blog as well as on its new website with immediate effect.
Via the Twitter microblogging site, the Bayerische Patentallianz is now
providing information for all persons interested in technology as well
as for potential industrial partners on the latest inventions and
research developments of the various Bavarian universities. The “Baypat”
tweets can be retrieved world-wide at www.twitter.com/transferblog. A
great many followers are already directly provided with the latest
tweets from Baypat via email, cell phone and browser.
In addition, the Bayerische Patentallianz has started a
technology blog which is administered by the patent and license
managers. The blog at www.technology-transfer-blog.com not only provides
information on current technology offers, innovations and inventions,
but also on the latest research of 28 Bavarian universities and
universities of applied sciences.
Furthermore the website of
the Bayerische Patentallianz has been relaunched at www.baypat.de. It
now offers the scientists of the Bavarian universities and businesses
interested in innovation even more comprehensive information on
inventions, patents and licenses. Since the website is now also
available in English, international scientists at the Bavarian
universities, in particular, will find it even easier to access
information on the commercial protection of inventions and their
marketing. They learn how the process from the invention to its
exploitation operates, which inventions are patentable, how a patent
could be endangered and how the inventions can be marketed to industry.
In this way, international, forward-looking companies that are
interested in proprietary inventions will also gain better access to the
latest technology offerings of all Bavarian universities.
