Technology transfer for the Bavarian universities and universities of applied sciences



The Bayerische Patentallianz GmbH is responsible for the technology transfer, i.e. the transference of technologies and research results from 28 Bavarian universities to the economy. Our aim is to market university  inventions in a fast and unbureaucratic manner and to contribute to the transfer of these inventions into product innovations. The research results of the scientists at the Bavarian universities forms the base for sales-strong products and services of the future and therefore for economic growth and prosperity in Germany.


Since we bundle up the research capacities of all 28 universities and colleges, we dispose of very extensive technical knowledge in the fields of life of sciences and engineering which we transmit to the industry through patents and licences. Some of the most important fields in which we market inventions are drug delivery, chemistry, diagnostics, green biotechnology and oncology. Moreover, we market inventions in the fields of mechanical engineering, medical technology and medical products, measuring technology and microsystems as well as electrical engineering and electronics.
