Kerstin joined BayPAT in 2019 as Corporate Counsel in our legal department after more than ten years of experience at the Technical University of Munich in the Legal Department, TUM Office for Research and Innovation and TUM Patents and Licensing Office where she drafted and negotiated cooperative agreements of all kinds with industry and research institutes and dealt with the technology transfer.

Prior to that she worked for two years for the Max-Planck-Institute for Plasmaphysics with secondments to the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the EFDA Close Support Unit.

She studied and graduated in law in Munich (Germany), Aix-en-Provence (France), Valletta (Malta) and Washington D.C. (USA) in 2004 (First state examinations) and 2006 (Second state examinations).
