Sarah joined BayPAT in 2012 and leads the Licensing Team. She is involved in the entire business development and licensing process to commercialize inventions.
Sarah has a background in organic, medicinal chemistry. In 2008, she finished a Diploma in Chemistry at the University of Hamburg, and at the end of 2011 she received her PhD degree from the University of Hamburg for her work in the group of Prof. Dr. Chris Meier. During this period, she studied DNA damage from aromatic amines and their role in inducing chemical carcinogenesis. She subsequently gained more insight into European patent rights, receiving a patent counsel degree from the University of Hagen.
