Die Bayerische Patentallianz GmbH (BayPAT) wurde 2007 durch den Universität Bayern e.V. und den Hochschule Bayern – The Bavarian Universities of Applied Sciences – e.V. gegründet und führt die Arbeit des Projekts BayernPatent als universitäts- und hochschuleigenes Unternehmen fort.
